Cottia is a writer and director with experience in film, television, music videos and commercials. After a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge Cottia returned to storytelling, working in script development and then casting and production for various feature films.

In 2015, Cottia began her filmmaking MA at the London Film School, where she wrote and directed three shorts, filming another four. Cottia graduated as a director in 2018, and has since worked in film and TV development alongside developing her portfolio as a director.
